At the same time, recognizing issues in yourself that you want to change… and being able to change them… FOR YOURSELF. You know you’re not perfect.. and that perfection is impossible.

Alla this. I’ve never been one to make life decisions based upon what others think. Well that didn’t include my Grandma cause well…she was my Grandma. Now everyone else? Meh. My life’s goal was to make my Grandma proud. I did that. Now I’m 35 and finding myself being more selective with the fucks I choose to give. I don’t let people (including family) stress me. My motto has become “I don’t give a fuck”. What’s ironic is that I give quite the fuck for those things I choose to care about. Everything else? Meh.
